I went to my first YA Day event at the start of this year. It was fantastic and I loved it – you can even check out the blog post I wrote about the day. I met some incredible friends there and was encouraged to attend more literary events. YA Day 2020 will be one of those events, and guess what!? The date has been announced!

I already got my ticket
As soon as I saw this I got my ticket. Well… I did a little happy clap first, but then I clicked the ticket link and made sure I had a spot. There’s an amazing list of authors attending, one of whom I even sat next to last year and spoke about writing with.
Writer or reader stream?
For the 2020 event you can choose to attend the Writer Stream or the Reader Stream. Although I’m a writer and determined to publish one day, the Reader Stream hooked me so that’s the one I’m going with.
Are you going?
If you’re from Melbourne, go buy your ticket! You won’t regret it! If you’re not from Melbourne… maybeeee it’s a good time for a holiday? Whether you’re able to make it or not, I’m sure there will be a lot of stuff on social media to make it feel like you’re there with us. I look forward to seeing you there (at the venue or online)!
